- Age Spots
- Keratosis
All areas of the body can be treated. Treatments on the face, neck and chest, (especially the V of the chest for women) as well as the tops of hands and the forearms are most popular and achieve incredible reults. Keratosis on the scalps of bald men vaporize instantly, leaving the skin smooth and the men looking younger and healthier.
Patients can expect improvement after just one treatment. One session will often reult ion the clearance of darker pigmented lesions, but lighter pigmented lesions may require 2 treatments, spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
Anesthesia is not necessary. A warm, tingling sensation is felt as the laser targets the dark pigment and selectively heats and destroys the lesion. Adjacent non-pigmented skin is not affected.

Side effects are few. After the treatment the lesions darken, sometimes forms a scab, and starts lightly peeling or exfoliating over 5-7 days. Some redness may also occur but it gradually fades away. No occlusive dressing is required. The skin appears natural–the effect is dramatic.

Sunscreen should be applied and worn during the month prior to and following the laser treatment.
